In Your School

We bring our incredible music classes to your school. Kids learn a variety of instruments, skills, and concepts. They work on things together as a group, and also individually. In the end, they fall in love with music.

Students Create Together

Music Videos

Students get to pick their instrument of choice to record in our very own music videos.

Songwriting.

Each class gets to write, sing, and record their very own silly songs.

This particular song was written, finished, and recorded all in just a 45 minute class.

Recording

Students not only get to learn instruments, and create awesome music videos. But they get to experience and understand the recording process.

We bring in all our gear to capture this epic moment.

Students have FUN Together

The Freeze Game

Learning should be fun. But we find ways to teach skills while having fun.

In this game, students think they’re being loud and crazy, and just having fun.. But honestly, this is a very important game to teach them to listen to and watch their instructor, and to freeze the moment we say so. This game teaches how to work together as a team. So we can record together as a band.

Musical Chairs.

When you were a kid, you know you played this game in your music class. Its a long lived tradition, passed down from generation to generation.

But this game still teaches how to listen. It also gives our teachers an opportunity to show off their awesome skills, and we also use this game to give students an opportunity to play in front of the class (without knowing they are playing in front of the class), which helps develop stage confidence.

Teaching Each Other.

Students are given an opportunity to step up and teach each other.

The best thing a teacher can do is to sit back and watch the class take over. Its a magical thing when you see students helping each other out, solving problems together, figuring out songs together, and playing together.

β€œIt has been a true pleasure welcoming Bryan McCartney (HeartSeed) into our school for music instruction.  His background and experience speak for themselves but what is truly remarkable is his passion and joy for teaching music.  It is obvious when he teaches that his goal is for the students to fall in love with music.  He creates engaging and interactive lessons that cater to different learning styles and abilities. Additionally, Bryan creates a safe and welcoming environment where students feel comfortable exploring music and expressing themselves.  Bryan's creative spirit and lively personality make our weekly music classes exciting and our students look forward to them each week.  There is never a dull moment!  Even though he comes just one day a week, he is a part of our school community.  We look forward to welcoming him back for years to come.”
